Soldier's Technique
Extend the exhale well past the inhale — a simple ratio shift that tells the nervous system "things are okay" without any fixed timing to track.
How
Inhale through the nose, then let the exhale run at least twice as long as the inhale (longer is fine). There's no set count — land wherever the exhale naturally lands. Use at least the belly, more of the breath wave if it's available. Exhale through pursed lips or a soft hum.
